Q: Why are Health Matters International prices so low?
A: One reason is price control. The Canadian and some other countries governments control how much pharmaceutical companies can charge for brand name products.
A: In the USA and some other countries the pharmaceutical companies can charge what the market will bear.
A: Patent laws are different depending on the country so generic prices come into effect with countries not having brand name patent laws.
A: On average, you will save 30-80% ordering your medications from Health Matters International.

Q: What is the difference between Brand and Generic Medications?
A: A generic drugs is the exact same or a copy of the brand name drug in dosage, safety, strength, quality, performance and intended use.
A: Price of generic drugs are much cheaper for the exact same product.
A: Pharmaceutical Brand Name companies have huge investment costs that they must recover so they increase the price of drugs to compensate.

Q: Is a prescription required?
A: Yes a valid prescription from a licensed physician is required for all medications that will be ordered.
A: The prescription MUST be faxed to Health Matters International before the order can be shipped.
A: Prescription must be in the English language ONLY.

Q: Is there a limit to how much I can order?
A: Yes, you can only order a three month or 90 day supply or each prescription.
A: It is important to make sure your doctor adds three refills to your prescription so that we can use the same prescription for your refills (9 months).

Q: Will you accept my insurance?
A: Unfortunately, no. We are located in Canada and because of this we cannot accept any foreign insurance.
A: We will however provide you with a receipt that your insurance company may or may not accept.

Q: Why can’t I buy Valium, Tylenol #3 or similar medications?
A: To apply with established standards or practice we are unable to ship any narcotic, banned or controlled substances except to US residents when shipped from our US pharmacy.

Q: How do I pay for my order?
A: We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express [Ex-US Only].
A: Payment will be collected when order is placed.
A: All prices are in USD and your credit card will be charged accordingly.

Q: How can you guarantee the quality of your International products?
A: The Canadian government as well as the other countries we ship from has VERY strict requirements for the manufacturing dispensing of medications. These requirements are very similar to the US requirements.
A: Many prescription medications are manufactured in one country and then just packaged by the manufacturer for sale in another.

A: Not all prescription medications are available.
A: Most products are available from our International pharmacies however. A product search will confirm available medications.

Q: Do I get charged a shipping charge for each prescription?
A: No, one shipping charge will be processed per ORDER per country, not per prescription.
A: Multiple orders going to the same address will only be charged one shipping charge per country.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: Your order will be shipped right to your door in approximately 10-15 business days.
A: Depending on the International Pharmacy you order from delivery times may vary.
A: Health Matters International recommends placing orders 30 days in advance to ensure you do not run out of any medications.

A: Health Matters International has been shipping medications for clients from multiple pharmacies around the world for many years.
A: New Zealand, Italy, South Africa, UK, India, Fiji, Canada, Germany, Australia and United States are among the locations dispensing for us.
A: All medications dispensed for clients are obtained from manufacturers with USFDA, Canadian HPB, UK or similar standard approvals to ensure the high quality of our products.
